The Environmental Voter Project Partners with the March for Science

The Environmental Voter Project is proud to partner with and endorse the March for Science taking place on April 22, 2017. We ask all of our friends and supporters to help celebrate the role of science in our lives and protect scientific inquiry from those trying to discredit it.

"Now, more than ever, the world needs the unfettered leadership of scientific inquiry," stated Environmental Voter Project Founder Nathaniel Stinnett. "At a time when scientific experimentation, and even the communication of long-established scientific facts, is under attack, we all need to stand up and protect the role of scientists in our society."

According to its mission statement, "the March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity."

As a non-partisan nonprofit that relies on rigorous experimentation for all the we do, the Environmental Voter Project depends upon the expertise of behavioral scientists, mathematicians, and data scientists every day. Our supporters demand scientific proof of our successes as well as a transparent accounting of our failures. It is our view that the public should demand no less of its government.

Science should always influence policy. Evidence-based policy-making is a clear, non-partisan, public good that nobody should fear or silence.

All of us must demand #ScienceNotSilence.

There are 395 (and counting) Science Marches planned for April 22nd. Join a march near you.
