Environmentalists Most Motivated To Vote In 2020

Originally reported by The Guardian, recent Environmental Voter Project research shows that registered voters who list "addressing climate change and protecting the environment" as their top priority are much more motivated to vote in 2020 than any other issue constituency group.

Of the 1,514 registered voters surveyed in the November poll, a stunning 14% listed climate and the environment as their top priority.

More importantly for the 2020 election, those climate/environmental voters were more motivated to vote than any other issue constituency group, with environmentalists stating that they're willing to wait in line for an average of 1 hour and 13 minutes to vote in the 2020 presidential election.

"Nobody's going to keep environmentalists from voting in 2020," Environmental Voter Project Executive Director Nathaniel Stinnett said. "This data shows they're laser-focused on voting in this presidential election, and I have no doubt that environmentalists will be the difference-makers in 2020."
