The climate movement has a voter turnout problem: 11.2 million environmental voters did not vote in the 2024 election, including more than half of the people who say climate and the environment are their number one voting issue. Nathaniel Stinnett, founder and executive director of the Environmental Voter Project, joins Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Bill McKibben to unpack this gap and explore what it would mean for the climate movement to turn these voters into consistent participants in elections.
