Everybody knows that 2016 is a big election year. Over 120 million people will likely vote for our next President and Congress, and many will also be choosing new governors and state legislators.
But you probably don't know that tens of millions of Americans will also have the opportunity to vote for a new mayor in 2016.
And if you care about the environment, that's a big deal.

Paris Gives Us Climate Hope. Voting Will Give Us Climate Results.

People from around the world began celebrating on Saturday evening as officials from more than 190 countries agreed to a landmark global deal to address climate change.
And they had reason to celebrate. The Paris Agreement is a big step forward. It commits 196 countries to begin working together in an effort to limit global warming to no more than 2 degrees Celsius over pre-industrial levels. There's even a "stretch goal" of 1.5 C.
